Interest & Study Groups

Part of AAUW's mission is "lifelong learning" and AAUW Westchester has many fun and exciting groups where members can fulfill this part of our mission.

If you don't see a group that interests you, and you have something in mind, contact the Interest Group Liaison to find out about starting a new group.

Social

Bridge Groups - meet several times during the week with one group specifically geared towards beginners. You may choose to join the Monday, Thursday or Friday group. All meet during the day.

Gourmet Dinners - gather at a member's home to cook and share fine meals.

Mah Jongg - plays this ancient Chinese game regularly.

TLWL (The Ladies Who Lunch) - enjoy good company andgood conversation over a relaxed meal.

Art & Culture

Active Artists - meet to share their artwork.

Art Interest - meets to share a love of art and organizes trips to art museums.

Filmgoers - get together to see various films of interest. Films are suggested and agreed upon by members.

Literature - discusses books covering a wide array of subjects and authors. There is a Day group, and Evening group and a Central/Southern Westchester group.
